Tag: Farm Sprayer Two brand new units of 90-horse power farm tractor where turned-over to Matutum Hybrid Cord and Trading Center (MHCTC). DA 12 Regional Executive Director Abusama M. Alid said the P5.4 Million-worth tractors is under the DA's Pilot Farm Mechanization and Tractor Pool Project with a counter parting scheme of P2.4 Million from the DA and P3 Million from MHCTC. DA-12 also turned over to the same beneficiary the P12,697,102.00 worth of equipments, facilities and machineries in support to the implementation of the DA's Corn-Based Agribusiness Systems Technology (COAST) project under GMA Corn Program in the region. This includes two units MF Tractor (135 HD); two units disc flow; warehouses, one set traveling corn sheller; two units Forward cargo trucks; C90 tractor; two units weighing scale (1000 kgs.); two units Kubota Tractor 16hp, one set stationary corn sheller; grain grader; two units corn planter one unit each bag closer and computer, boom sprayer and two units chisel plow. Mr. Rene Espulgar, President of MHCTC, is grateful for all the assistance that the agriculture department has given them. He assures DA that they will take good care of the machineries and equipment to optimize their use for a longtime. MHCTC further assure that they will be one of the staunched and solid partner of DA in the fulfillment of government's goals of improving corn production to spur more development in the area.
